Reproductive Health Statement

The Winchester Board of Health is committed to protecting access to reproductive health services, including safe abortion, as a basic public health right. The Board recommends that reproductive health information, including legal rights to an abortion in Massachusetts; medical information; funding options; and contact information for locations of service be made readily available in print and digital form, in languages commonly spoken in Winchester including English, Mandarin and Spanish and that this information be posted on the Health Department and Board of Health webpages, and made available to any organizations or individuals who request it.

El Comité de Salud de Winchester está dedicado a proteger acceso a los servicios de salud reproductiva, incluyendo el aborto, como un derecho público básico. El Comité de Salud recomienda que la información sobre la salud reproductiva, que incluye el derecho legal al aborto en Massachusetts; información médica; opciones de pagos; y los datos de contacto para las ubicaciones del servicio, sean disponibles en forma impresa y en forma digital, en los idiomas más hablados en Winchester, incluyendo el inglés, el chino, y el español, y que esta información esté publicada  en las páginas de web del Departamento de Salud y del Comité de Salud, y sea disponible a las organizaciones y a los individuos que la piden.

The hotline will connect health care providers and patients with free, confidential legal advice and information about abortion access and care in the state.
