The Winchester Archival Center's Online Catalog puts Winchester's pictorial history at your fingertips. By clicking on the link above, you can search for specific names, addresses, or topics. Or click Explore by Image and see a random sample of images.

At its present stage, the catalog is primarily a searchable database of the photograph and map collections. It is not yet a complete catalog, but more images are added several times a year.

The catalog also includes information about the Center's oral history collection and its finding aids for document collections. 

N.B., the catalog is a work in progress. Please contact the Center with any questions about our other holdings.

How to Obtain Copies of Photographs in the Catalog: 

Thumbnail pictures may be copied and used without fee. The Center appreciates a credit line if the images are shared.

For higher resolution copies, please fill out and mail a request form with the required fee. Orders must be pre-paid. A scan of the photograph will be delivered via e-mail.

For permission to publish, please contact the Archival Center.

How to Obtain Copies of Finding Aids

Catalog entries for the finding aids may not provide full details about the collections. For a copy of the detailed finding aid, please send an e-mail request to the reference archivist.
