Wildwood/Woodside Street Intersection

The Town is making changes to the intersection of Wildwood Street, Woodside Road, and Wickford Road to reduce vehicular speeds and increase pedestrian safety.  As part of the work, the Woodside Road approach will be relocated to form a "tee" with Wildwood Street. 

June 2023 Update:  Curb and sidewalk work is complete and we are waiting for line painting to be finished.  Line painting will relocate the stop bar closer to the intersection and adjust the lane widths to provide maneuvering space for vehicles turning onto Woodside Road from Wildwood Street.  The work is being completed with funding from the MassDOT Shared Streets and Spaces grant program and Eversource.
