CHASING CHILDHOOD

Parents/caregivers and educators, please join us for a community discussion with Peter Gray, Ph.D on March 1st. We will continue the conversation on March 15th with a screening of the award-winning documentary Chasing Childhood.?The world of childhood has changed and children spend less time engaged in genuine free play. What role does play have in meeting children's basic needs for autonomy, competence and connection? How does play impact social-emotional skill-building, mental health, learning and overall health? Let's discuss these questions together as a community.
