Winchester Matters
Application for rental assistance

  

WHO:

Winchester residents negatively affected by COVID-19 and are in need or mortgage or rental assistance.

WHAT: 

The Town of Winchester is using CARES Act funding to provide mortgage or rental assistance to Winchester residents in need. The Town will provide up to $1,000 per individual resident or up to $2,000 in assistance for families. Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis until the Town has exhausted the relief funds or December 23, 2020, whichever comes first. Payments will be made directly to the landlord or mortgage company.

WHERE:

Applications can be dropped off at Town Hall at 71 Mount Vernon Street, Winchester, MA or emailed directly to TownManager@Winchester.us.

HELP: 

Those unable to email the application may call the Town Manager’s Office at (781) 721-7133 or the Jenks Center at (781) 721-7136 during normal business hours to help fill out an application. 

Residents need to apply by Wednesday, December 23, 2020 by 4pm at the latest. Only COMPLETE applications will be accepted.
