An application for a building permit to demolish the dwelling at 48 Oak Street has been filed with the Town of Winchester Building Department. The property is included in the list of historically protected properties and is therefore subject to a delay in the issuance of a demolition permit under Chapter 14 of the Town’s Bylaws. In accordance with Chapter 14 of the Town of Winchester Code of by-laws, the Winchester Historical Commission will hold a public hearing on the application in the Mystic Valley Room, Town Hall, beginning at approximately 7:30pm, on Monday, July 11, 2022. The public is welcome to attend.
