Pursuant to the Wetlands Protection Act and the Winchester Wetlands Bylaw, the Winchester Conservation Commission will hold a remote public hearing on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 8:45 PM.  A Request for an Amended Order of Conditions has been filed by Eversource Energy for work to be performed in the vicinity of the Washington Street Bridge over the Aberjona River, Winchester.  

It is proposed to: 1.) Change the method for the underground, trenchless crossing of the Aberjona River to employ horizontal directional drill methodology, and 2.) to be approved to increase the volume of dewatering fluid discharged to the Aberjona River, using four total discharge points including two existing stormwater outfalls and two on-bank diffusers on the western bank of the Aberjona River north of the existing Washington Street Bridge.
