The Winchester Planning Board will hold a public hearing pursuant to MGL Chapter 40A, Section 5, to discuss proposed amendments to the Town’s Zoning Bylaws.
Three articles are proposed for the Spring Town Meeting of 2023. (1) AMEND Table 4.1.1 of the Zoning Bylaw to change the Minimum Lot Width for District RDA from 120’ to 100’; (2) AMEND Section 3.5.5 to clarify the section’s applicability to proposed reconstruction or alteration of existing non-conforming single and duplex residential structures which would introduce new non-conformities; (3) REPORT to Town Meeting regarding the condition of the town and any plans or proposals for its development as stated in MGL, Part I, Title VII, Chapter 41, Section 71.
The complete draft text relative to each of the proposed changes (1) and (2) above is available for inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office at Winchester Town Hall, 71 Mt. Vernon St, Winchester, MA during regular business hours. Additionally, it will be available online at https://winchester.us
The public hearing for the articles listed above will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 7:30pm.
It will be held EITHER in person at Winchester Town Hall, Select Board Room OR remotely, via Zoom, depending upon whether the state extends the ability to meet remotely past March 31, 2023.
