An application for a building permit to demolish the residences at 158, 160 and 162 Swanton Street has been filed with the Town of Winchester Building Department. The property is included in the list of historically protected properties and is therefore subject to a delay in the issuance of a demolition permit under Chapter 14 of the Town’s Bylaws.
In accordance with Chapter 14, the Winchester Historical Commission will hold a public hearing on the application at 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2023. The public is welcome to attend.
The meeting will be held in the Mystic Valley Room in the Town Hall basement.
