Pursuant to the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Winchester Wetlands Bylaw, the Winchester Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 26, at 7:30 PM in the Winchester Room of the Winchester Town Hall, 71 Mt. Vernon Street, Winchester. A Notice of Intent has been filed by the Town of Winchester for work to be performed at Big and Little Winter Ponds on Woodside Road, Winchester MA.
It is proposed to implement an aquatic management program to control nuisance and non-native plant and algae growth with USEPA/MA state registered aquatic herbicides, algaecides and other best management practices.
