[ARCHIVED] BOARD OF SELECTMEN: Grant of Location: Eversource - Church Street

In conformity with the requirements of Section 22 of Chapter 166 of the General Laws (Ter. Ed.) you are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held in the Board of Selectmen Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of Winchester Town Hall in the Town of Winchester, Massachusetts on the 21st day of March, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. upon the petition of NSTAR Electric d/b/a Eversource Energy for permission to construct, and a location for, a line of conduits and manholes, with the necessary wires and cables therein, for the transmission of electricity, under the following public ways of said Town:

Church Street – Southwesterly side at and southeast of Fletcher Street

Remove one (1) Eversource pole 23 / 32;
Install one (1) Eversource polce 23 / 32
W.O. #1808318

This work is necessary due to support MassDOT project#601019. The existing Eversource pole will be relocated to make room for the new traffic signals that MassDOT will be installing at the intersection of Church Street and Fletcher Street.

NOTE: This hearing and project are NOT related to the proposed Eversource transmission lines along Cross Street / Washington Street and Wildwood Street / Bacon Street.
