On Wednesday evening, March 30, 2016, the Board of Selectmen will hold a public information session starting at 7:00 PM at the Vinson-Owen Elementary School. The purpose of the session is to hear a preliminary development proposal for the parcel of land known as “Winning Farm”.

Mr. Ron Bonvie, President of Helios Construction and owner of Southport, Cape Cod, is interested in developing up to 26 townhouse units on the property. Ownership and residence would be restricted to adults 55 years of age and over (“active adult community”), as permitted by Federal Law.

Development would require neighborhood review, Town Meeting approval of a new development agreement, including affordable housing provisions, Town Meeting approval to rezone the property, and a new comprehensive area plan, special permit and conservation order of conditions.

The public is invited to attend. You are receiving this notice because you are a nearby resident. If you know of other neighbors who may be interested, please feel free to notify or invite them.
