The WINCHESTER BOARD OF APPEAL will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on MONDAY, MAY 21, 2018 at 7:30 P.M. in the WATERFIELD ROOM, TOWN HALL, 71 MOUNT VERNON STREET, WINCHESTER, MA on the following matter:
PETITION NO. 3856 - That of WINCHESTER BOAT CLUB, INC. by VINCENT J. PISEGNA, ESQ., concerning the property at 65 CAMBRIDGE STREET, WINCHESTER, MA. The petitioner seeks a Special Permit pursuant to Section 3.1, Group II, Item 9 (country club, sporting grounds or outdoor recreation use) and Section 9.4 of the Winchester Zoning By-Law in accordance with Chapter 40A, Section 9 of the Massachusetts General Laws so as to be permitted to replace the existing boat shed on the Everett Avenue parcel of the Winchester Boat Club with a new 17 foot wide by 49 foot long shed that will contain sailing lockers and storage for boats and equipment, a walkway of pervious pavers will connect the new shed to the existing wooden deck to the south and additional landscaping will be planted to the west of the shed along the stream and along the property line with 48 Everett Avenue. The property is located in the RDB (Single Residence) zoning district and contains 68,000 +/- square feet.
