[ARCHIVED] SELECT BOARD: All Alcohol Package Store License

The Winchester Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 8:00 PM in the Select Board Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of Winchester Town Hall on the application to transfer the All Alcoholic Retail Package Store license from Pairings Wine and Food Inc d/b/a Pairings Wine and Food to HPL, Inc d/b/a Pairings Wine and Food, 600 Main Street.


In accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 138, Section 15a, before a premises can be licensed, which is located within 500 feet of a school or church, except those located more than 10 floors above street level, the local licensing authority must determine in writing and after a hearing that the premises is not detrimental to the educational and spiritual activities of the school or church. Should there be any objection or concern by the Church, School or Hospital, it must be filed, in writing, with the Select Board, prior to the date of the public hearing.
