Beginning Monday, April 29, 2019 water main flushing of the Town's middle low water system will be taking place during the day from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in your neighborhood. Please be advised, some areas may be done at night.
Water main flushing signs will be posted each day in the areas to be flushed. The attached schedule lists the areas to be flushed by the day (Day 1 is April 29th). Please check the Town's website for updates as the schedule may change at any time. The middle low water system consists of streets west of Washington Street, Main Street, Grove Street, and streets east of Cambridge Street.
During flushing, residents should refrain from using water for drinking, dish washing, and laundry as some discoloration of water may occur. If you experience discolored water, let the cold water run until it clears. If the problem continues, please call the Water and Sewer Department at 781-721-7109.
