voting selfie ps

Did you know that Massachusetts Law prohibits you from taking a picture of you voting your ballot?  But you can take a selfie in the polling place as long as the ballot voted or Unvoted is not captured in the image.  Out of courtesy of the voters in the polling location the Town Clerk’s asked that you don’t use your phone while in the Polling locations but feel free to snap a pic in front of the Polling Locations or Vote Here signs.

Remember The Winchester Town Clerk’s Office will be opened for Early Voting this Monday, February 24th through Friday, February 28th regular office hours; Monday 8am-7pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am – 4pm or Friday 8am – 12Noon.

While we can’t ask you for a drivers’ license according to Massachusetts Election Law, we are using electronic voter check in for Early Voting Only and if you bring your Massachusetts Driver’s License with your Winchester address you can be checked as having cast your ballot with a quick click of the scanner.

Hope to see you next week.
