Annual Town Election

The Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, March 18 with all precincts voting at Winchester High School.  Registered voters who expect to be out of town on Election Day, between 7AM and 8PM when the polls are open, or who are unable to get to the polls because of illness or physical disability, may apply for an absentee ballot, which will be mailed to them as soon as an application is received by the Town Clerk.  

Voters may also come to Town Hall during normal business hours to cast their vote in person prior to noon Friday, March 17, 2023.   Requests for ballots must be in writing and signed by the voter or an immediate family member.  A letter is sufficient, or applications may be downloaded from the Town’s Website.

The Winchester Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "Meet the Candidates Breakfast" on Tuesday, March 14th, 8:00am, at Wright-Locke Farm.  You can find more information and register to attend by clicking here.

Spring Town Meeting

The warrant closes this Friday, March 10th.  Articles need to be submitted in final form by noon on March 10th.  Please email the Town Manager's Office if you have any questions.  

Adventures in the Air

Join Winchester’s Archivist Ellen Knight for more revelations from Winchester history with her new program, “Adventures in the Air,” ranging from pioneering aeronauts to daring aviators and astronauts, free to the public, Wed. What's on the Town's website?

The Alert Center is where the Town posts news items that are more urgent than normal.  Parking bans, storm warnings, parking lot closures and special elections are just some of the alerts that has been sent in the past.  You can sign up to get emails from the website when an Alert is posted.  

The Alert Center is located on the Notify Me system.  While you are signing up for Alerts, please sign up for Winchester Aware as well.  That is the Town's reverse 911 system.
