run

WOW!

Lauren Easton of Winchester just completed the Tokyo marathon!  She is celebrating her award for completing 6 major marathons!

run2

The marathons were in Berlin, London, Tokyo, New York, London, Chicago and Boston (about 22 times).  She is one of only 4000 in the world to compete at his feat. These are only a handful of the races she’s run in the United States as well as abroad.  Impressive!

Do you have a story about a resident you would like included in our weekly newsletter?  Send the information to Jennifer Cafarella in the Town Manager's Office.

Wright-Locke Farm Survey

The Wright-Locke Farm Conservancy in Winchester builds broad community and seeks to model sustainable practices through active learning, organic agriculture, land stewardship, and an appreciation of their historic New England farm. They offer certified-organic produce and other local farm products, educational programs for children and adults, hiking trails that lead to conservation land, special events for the community, and private celebrations.

Wright-Locke Farm has developed a survey to improve their Farm-to-Go Online Farm Stand to better serve their surrounding community. Wright-Locke appreciates any and all feedback, including from individuals with little or no knowledge of the farm.
