1. What can I do with old clothes and shoes?

Place in bins at Transfer Station entrance (on right). If very worn, place in “clothes recycling” bin directly across the street (on left).

2. How about pet poop?

Pet poop is non-recyclable! Please place it in a tied bag on the conveyor belt.

3. Can I recycle light bulbs and items containing mercury?

We recycle compact fluorescent lights (CFL’s) and fluorescent lights. All other light bulbs (conventional and LED) go on the conveyor belt. Please do not put CFL’s on conveyor belt – they contain harmful mercury. We are able to recycle all mercury items!

4. What about batteries?

We recycle rechargeable and button-cell batteries but alkaline batteries go on the conveyor belt.
