Understanding Friendship... And All Of Its Complexities

Friendships are essential to our well-being and it can take work to foster healthy relationships – for kids and adults!

Join us as we learn about friendship skills and explore the friendship scale between true friend and frenemy. We will discuss relational aggression and toxic versus healthy relationships.  You will learn tools to help you help your kids expand their thinking from “do they like me?” to “what am *I* looking for in a friend?”

Presentation by Emily Ward, MSW, Winchester Public Schools Adjustment Counselor/Social Emotional Learning Coach. Ms Ward has presented to WPS staff as part of district professional development.
