The Community Calendar is to publicize events located in Winchester where the pubic is invited to attend. For profit businesses are allowed to post on this calendar up to 3 days per month. All submissions are subject to approval.

No holidays, events outside of Winchester or personal events are to be posted.

    This program encourages parents and children to interact in a creative and challenging environment with their children, along with social involvement with other preschool children. Children will explore working with paint, glue and other craft materials. Parents and children will have loads of fun when they team up and create all sorts of crafts.   3. Jazz Quintet Celebrates “New Beginnings” in a Post-Pandemic World, January 27th, in Winchester

    This year, Winchester Unitarian Society’s Jazz in the Sanctuary presents “New Beginnings,” Friday, January 27th, at 8:00 PM. The concert pays tribute to the post-pandemic “reboot” we’ve been experiencing lately, with jazz tunes such as McCoy Tyner’s “Inception,” Herbie Hancock’s “Maiden Voyage,” Kenny Barron’s “Dawn,” and many others. The concert will be held live in the Winchester Unitarian Society sanctuary, 478 Main Street, Winchester. It will also be live-streamed. Music will be performed by Tom Palance on trumpet, Brian Price on saxophone, John Kramer on piano, Rick McLaughlin on bass, and Yoron Israel on drums. Suggested donations at the door are $20 adults, $15 seniors, $5 students; donations may also be made online. Masks are optional; a special area will be designated for those wishing to wear masks.
