The Community Calendar is to publicize events located in Winchester where the pubic is invited to attend. For profit businesses are allowed to post on this calendar up to 3 days per month. All submissions are subject to approval.

No holidays, events outside of Winchester or personal events are to be posted.

  1. NAMI Family to Family Course

    Family-to-Family Course September 9th to November 4th, 2023 Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the First Congressional Church Winchester 21 Church Street, Winchester MA The course provides family caretakers with education about mental health conditions, skills workshops, and information about available resources. The NAMI Family-to-Family curriculum includes: Information about mental health conditions and treatments Coping skills, handling crisis and relapse, local and national resources Listening and communication techniques Problem solving, limit setting, self-care Most importantly, the course offers family members the invaluable opportunity of open conversation and mutual support in a stigma-free environment. Course participants, now more than 400,000 people nationwide, find that the Family-to-Family experience empowers them to understand and pursue paths toward healthy recovery for their loved ones, their families, and themselves.

  2. Winchester Farmers Market

    Join Winchester’s Farmers Market every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in a park-like setting on Winchester’s Town Common. Fresh vegetables, a variety of prepared foods, and baked goods. Arts, crafts, and household goods. Local organizations, Chamber of Commerce businesses, and Winchester Artists Network artists. Live music every week!     Please join us for a dynamic and energized evening of music from the town’s best youth performers. First Congregational Church will provide the setting, audio needs, a beautiful digital grand piano, and snacks! Just bring your talent! Anchored by the Winchester band, Bone2Pick, which includes members Elsa Conway, Ava Derderian, Riley Simpson, and Ruby Swyst, the evening will provide opportunities for bands and individual performers alike Show up early that evening OR sign up in advance for 10-minute slots Admission is free of charge. A free will offering will be taken at the door to support the work of Youth Villages’ LifeSet program, which empowers young people from foster care to adulthood. As young people turn 18 in foster care, they need comprehensive support as they transition from state services to independence. With few resources, they must work to overcome the impact of childhood adversity as they navigate the adult world.
